We are pleased to announce the 26th Annual Conference of the Write On Calligraphers to be held on May 2 & 3, 2007 at  Edmonds Community College.  Our Keynote Speaker will be  calligrapher, painter, and printmaker  Louise Grunewald


Over 20 experienced instructors will be teaching a wide variety of classes, including calligraphy hands and paper-oriented arts.  Most classes are small; please register promptly on or after March 24.
Classes at Letters of Joy 2007 will held
from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 3rd
at Edmonds Community College
in Lynnwood, Washington.
Registration, Keynote Address and Vendors Market are all in the Triton Union Building, located in the southwest corner of campus next to the golf course.  Limited parking is available in front of the main entrance.  Follow LOJ signs to the other parking areas.

All Letters of Joy participants are invited to bring artwork (limit: two entries per person).  Matted pieces should be covered with clear material.  Framed pieces must have wire. Each piece of artwork MUST BE LABELED.  Labels will be available at the exhibit. Participants are allowed to sell their artwork.  Write On Calligraphers asks a 10% donated commission on all sold work.
     Three scholarships will be offered to high school and college students age 18 and older.
To apply, send a letter in your everyday handwriting stating why you would like to attend.  Include your name, telephone number, email address and the name of your school.  Mail by April 6th to Write On Calligraphers,
PO Box 277, Edmonds, WA 98020-0277.  Write: "Attn: LOJ Scholarship" on the envelope.

       registered guests pick up name
       badge and program.  Lecture and
       reception only, guests welcome!

       Keynote Address
       Lecture and slide presentation by Keynote             Speaker Louise Grunewald
       Reception follows 
9:45  Silent Auction Ends

11:00 - 12:30 - Lunch.  A sandwich and salad
         buffet will be served to those who                       pre-registered for the All-Event
         package by April 25th
12:30 - Session II classes begin
2:30 -   Session II classes end
2:30 -  3:00 - Break
3:00 -   Session III classes begin
5:00 -   Session III classes end
6:00 -   Doors close
